3 Tips To Get More Facebook Fans On Your Page
Your Facebook page currently has 4,000 fans... but somehow, your posts are not getting as much attention as you want from them. What is wrong? Needless to say, the easier part of having a Facebook page is getting people to like your page, but getting them to appreciate your content is the harder task. So how do you do it?
Post Quality Content
This may seem obvious but needs to be reinforced nevertheless. The only way to be successful on social media is by sharing quality information with your audience regularly. The truth of the matter is, even if your Facebook page represents a business worth patronizing, if you rarely post on your wall, then your following wanes. And even more importantly, if you post several times a day, but your posts are irrelevant, poorly-written, and offer no value, then no one will ever "like" on your content -- or worse, you may even get some negative comments -- which is the number 1 thing you need to steer clear of. Be the expert and reliable Facebook page owner that you can be proud of.
Add a Facebook Link to Your Website
Include a link to your Facebook page from your website, blog and other business websites. It may also help if you give customers an incentive to join (special discounts, coupon codes etc.) Adding the link in the header or top of your website is a good idea as it makes the link accessible across all pages on your website. You can also start including Facebook links in your email communications. Whether you're sending out a monthly newsletter or customer service email, including a link to your Facebook page in email communications is another good idea. For professional emails, you may want to consider placing this link in your email signature.
Maintain Interactivity Commenting, Liking, Sharing...
If you want your fans to be active on your fan page, you have to be as active too. People crave interaction and the more you engage with your fans, the more likely they will return to your fan page. Supportive fans would regularly share your posts with their circle of friends, which increases the possibility of their friends becoming your fans. Along with posting regularly, post more images and the latest and greatest of new info. Break news on your Facebook page if you are the kind to camp out for things like this but do it with a photo within an album so that whenever someone shares the photo/image, it can be linked back to your Facebook page.
