The Clothes Helped This Guy

When I enter into a store I like to get what I'm there for and checkout. I keep a goal of staying focused in on what I need without wasting time looking at other things. Each shopping trip is a mission for me. The best course of action is to go directly to what I need and then checkout. My sister decided she would get me to go shopping by providing me some walmart coupons online. Clearly she had decided that I was past due on buying myself something new to wear.

As a sibling, she figures that I run my spending as tight as I do my shopping trips. It's not very hard for me to wear the same pair of jeans every day. I just wash them regularly and wear them again. My sister wasn't the only one that had mentioned something about my appearance. Earlier in the week I was going on a blind date that one of my good friends had set up for me. He took a good look at me and immediately began laughing. It wasn't as if he were the only one. The typical people I see throughout the month had even started looking at me a little strange. Normally I don't even notice things like that. I typically suppose that it is a good indicator that I better go home and take a good look in the mirror.

Considering that I had just shaved that morning, I knew it had to be how I was dressed. When I got to the store I was on my routine mission. Get the same style of pants that I always wear. There was no need to even waste time in the fitting room. Shopping like this has its perks. I always know that I'm going to be pleased with my purchase. Picking out a shirt wouldn't be too hard either. As long as it would fit me I was good to go. The more I looked around the store, the more I thought about the date that I went on the other night. It was immediately obvious to me that this woman appreciated fashion and enjoyed pampering herself.

The date was actually a lot of fun. We went bowling and had a couple of drinks. When I asked to know if she would like to see me again, she even said yes. As I stood there inside of the department store all I could focus on was this woman. The need to dress myself up a little better became more and more of a reality.

I didn't even know how to start shopping. Even though I see people every day, I never watch to see what they are wearing. The sales clerk must have caught notice of how out of my element I looked. I'm sure I looked like a cat in a house full of rocking chairs. When I told the young girl about my situation she easily pointed me in the right direction.

Shopping for my new outfit didn't end up costing me anywhere close to what I expected. We both had a great time on our second date. Even though the best thing was landing a third date, it was pretty awesome that I even got complemented on my looks.
